INTERNATIONAL USERS

In 1981, a group of parents with addicted children, gathered together with some volunteers, with the purpose to promote a treatment center in Treviso.
Up to that moment, families had to look for help abroad.

In 1983, after a period of training in the CEIS of Lucca, together with Don Antonio Viale, they established the association "CEIS Centro di Solidarietà".
In the same year, the first group of volunteers began its activities.
Later, many of them became staff members in the treatment units.

The treatment concept is conceived for drug addicts, their families and the enlarged community.
It is based on the philosophy of "Progetto Uomo", a holistic approach, shared by many other treatment centers in Europe and Latin America.

Actually, the activities of the Centro range mostly in two interconnected area, which can be defined as the area of rehabilitative treatment and the area of prevention in the enlarged community.
